Upgrading DotNetNuke Versions

The Url Master module can be left in-place when upgrading DotNetNuke.  It caters for the use of the /install.aspx Url and doesn't interfere with this process.

For the extra-cautious, you can ensure peace of mind by disabling the Url Master module (by clicking on the 'Revert to Standard Provider' button) prior to performing the DotNetNuke upgrade.  You can then re-enable the module when the upgrade is finished by clicking on the 'Apply Changes' button.

Note : DotNetNuke 5.5 contained breaking changes with regards to the Url Master installation process which creates the admin/host pages.   Please read this blog post DotNetNuke upgrades and Url Master for more information.
