Premium Support from iFinity

If you don't have time to install and configure an iFinity module (either a premium or free version), or are having troubles with your website (be it a DotNetNuke or other website), you are probably just looking for some expert help.   Due to frequent requests from customers, we now have a Premium Support service available to help with installation and configuration of not only the iFinity modules, but just about any website problem you might be having.

How it works

We arrange a pre-determined time suitable for both parties, and support is provided by Instant Messaging and/or Skype.  We may require temporary access to FTP, Administrator logins, RDP or other as the case may require.   You must supply details of the problem so that we can assess the likely nature of it and whether we will be likely to supply a solution.  You must supply :

- The nature of the problem

- The versions of all relevant software involved (operating system, database system, programming language (if neeeded), application version (for example, DotNetNuke version, ASP.NET version)

- Any public Urls where the problem can be seen.

Types of Problems Covered

- Installation and Configuration of iFinity supplied Software Modules and Packages

- Problems with IIS / Sql Server / Windows Servers

- Assistance with C#, VB.NET and T-SQL Programming Issues that have you stumped.

- Configuration and Installation of DotNetNuke portals

In each case, an expert in the field will be assigned to the problem.  Sometimes the problem can be looked at within 30 minutes, sometimes within 48 hours, as it depends on the availability of the support person and the nature of the problem.

A popular usage of this service has been support in installing and configuring the options of the iFinity Friendly Url Provider and the iFinity Url Master.  They both have a large array of options and can be tailored to suit an individual website needs.

Payment and Cost

The cost of support is $100 (AUD) per hour.  Depending on Foreign Exchange Rates, this works out at about $90-95 USD / 40 GBP / 60 EUR.  The minimum charge is one hour, regardless of the time taken to correct the problem, and we will organise a block of time in which we would expect the problem to be solved.   The objective is to fairly reward the professional for their time and encourage good service, not to fleece customers in trouble - your'e not dealing with an oil cartel here.   Before work will commence, you will be sent a PayPal invoice for the first hour, and a subsequent invoice for any further time.  This needs to be paid before work commences.

All support is confidential and nothing will be posted in blogs or forums unless agreed by arrangement (sometimes a tricky problem is posted to help others who come along in the future).

 If this all sounds very formal and too difficult, don't worry, you'll be treated very nicely!
