Bruce,

Thank you for the prompt replies, and suggestions.

Currently the rule I have in place does not use a RegEx. It is just a simple rule with a find "Rusty Shacklefurd" and replace with "<a href="/foo/foo.aspx>Rusty Shacklfurd</a>".

I will try with different host settings. Maybe I will check my local installs setting and mirror them on our production server.

Thanks again will keep you updated.

I think we've found the problem. I was able to get the module working with No Compression in the host performance settings. It was originially set to Defalate Compression, I will have to check with the other developers to see if that is something we can leave turned off.

OK, that doesn't surprise me that it wasn't working with deflate compression, but I'm unsure as to why the performance would slow.  But I will update the documentation to indicate that compression should probably not be used on a site with the Inline Link Master.
