What are the issues? I know you have posted about the + in the tag phrases before, this is on the list of things to look at but it's not a promised feature, because there is a workaround avilable (the IIS7 setting change).

The last update was November 2009, which added a couple of small features people had asked for. In general a release is done when I feel there are enough new features to justify putting out a build, or there is a compatibility problem that needs to be fixed. I wouldn't expect to do more than one or two releases a year with the module.

As for the future of the product - it's a mature product and there's not a lot of extra functionality to look at without going outside of the functionality of tagging pages and showing tag clouds. DNN has now included tags into the core build so I have to see where they are taking that. Currently there is no tag cloud in DNN, but they are moving in this direction.
