Unable to get html extension to run

Bruce,

Got the source code, and made the changes I needed, it's looking pretty good. But I've run into a weird situation. I'm trying to run the pages as .html extension on IIS 6 Server 2003. I've followed the instructions, and can get the pages to run as some random extension (say .foo for example or .rick for example) but when I try and run it as .html I get page cannot be found. This leads me to believe it's an IIS problem - any ideas? I've elminated the code changes as the problem as it does it with the precompiled dll you have for install also.

Thanks.

Rick

Re: Unable to get html extension to run

Hi Rick

The default value for the 'ignoreRegex' field excludes htm/html files by default.  If you haven't changed the default value, then that would be my guess.  Just remove the \.htm from the ignoreRegex field and it should work OK.

Re: Unable to get html extension to run

Bruce - Yea I figured that out. I wasn't paying attention when I was stepping thru the code and the example web.config I was looking at didn't have that attribute in it. Thanks for the help.

Rick
