I've just posted version 4.6.11 of the Friendly Url Provider code.

This version has bug fixes for the following:

- https support (finally!) sorted out, including respecting the Https settings at the portal level.

- Rss.aspx support - with the caveat that a bug in the core code has to be fixed to make it work.  Only if you are hell-bent on using the module-level syndication options shoudl you bother with this - it doesn't affect other module-specific syndication like blog or forums syndication. See the separate 'RSS' thread on this forum for details.

Version 5.0.1 - Released : 3rd February 2009

Version 5.0.1 is compatible with DNN Versions 4.6 upwards, including 5.0 and upwards. This post shows the changes for both 5.0.0 and 5.0.1. 5.0.1 is an update the 5.0.0 codebase fixing some reported bugs.

Enhancements in 5.0.1

Bug Fixes in 5.0.0

To upgrade an existing version, simply copy the new DLL over the existing DLL in your \bin folder. You should also review the standard settings prescribed in the install instructions file, and make any changes where necessary. In particular, the triggerDictionaryRebuildRegex value should be updated to the value of &ctl=tab|/ctl/tab|/Admin/Tabs/.

This release also allows for in-place upgrades of the DNN Framework, reversing earlier advice to revert to the standard DNN provider before upgrading a DNN install.

Please note that these release notes are now included in the install zip file.  A more structured release notes change log will be kept from this release onwards.

Note that the 4.5 version of the Friendly Url Provider is no longer being actively upgraded.  The source code is still available.

Version 5.0.3 - Released : 24th February 2009

Version 5.0.3 contains changes to suit dnn 4.9.2/5.0.1
