Detory

This has already been logged as bug in a previous thread.  I'll fix it in the next release.  I'll post back here when I have fixed the problem.

I'm having the same problem as well.  I'm using the VS 2008 web server which uses a port with local host.  I keep getting redirected to the correct portal alias but without the port so it won't work.  The site was copied from the production site to my local workstation for some new development and I can't view any pages unless I remove the URL rewriter.

I looks like the version I'm using was released after the previous post.  Is there a work around?

Thanks!
Dave

That was fixed a long time ago, so whichever version you're using should work just fine.  However, I suspect the problem is that you're using the in-built cassini webserver to do your development, and it is randomly assigning port numbers?  Or is it just that you've setup a different port in order to run multiple sites?

Anyway, if you include the port number along with the domain name (ie localhost:8080 or machinename:8080) as a portal alias entry, it should work OK.  You can't add in localhost and get localhost:1243 to work.  The portal alias has to match the site domain exactly.
