Hi there,

After having too many modules fail with the DNN default humanfriendly URL provider enabled, I decided to try the infinity one, which immediately gave much better results. However, there is one odd issue that I can't quite figure out.

When I click the login/sign-in link, the page just refreshes and does not navigate to the sign-in page. Further investigation reveals that this only occurs when the portal has registration enabled. If there is no registration, and therefore no registration link right next to the login link, then I can click through to sign-in. When registration is enabled, I cannot.

I'm running iFinity.FriendlyUrlProvider_05.02.00_Install on DNN5.5.0 (upgraded since 4.3.4), on IIS7, .Net 4.0, Integrated mode.

I'm using the sample configuration, with the only modification being to use dashes instead of underscores to replace spaces.

Any advice is much appreciated,

Rob

Can I see the site that this is happening on?

Thanks for the reply Bruce,

It's a live system with multiple portals running, so I had to disable the provider. But if I know you're about to look at it, I will re-enable it again briefly so you can check.

I'll pm you my Skype/Messenger contact and if that is ok with you, drop me a note on either of those and I'll enable it. I'm in NZ and here for the rest of the day and evening.

Thanks heaps
Rob

Rob - I'll need to see it in action. Send an email to support@ifinity.com.au when it is enabled with the provider.
