Error installing Friendly Url Provider 

 

While installing iFinity.FriendlyUrlProvider_04.06.11_Install.zip I am getting the following error

StartJob Starting Installation
StartJob Reading files
Info Loading example.web.config
Info File example.web.config read successfully
Info Loading iFinity.FriendlyUrlProvider.dll
Info File iFinity.FriendlyUrlProvider.dll read successfully
Info Loading UrlRewriting Install Instructions.htm
Info File UrlRewriting Install Instructions.htm read successfully
Failure Did not find any .dnn file ???
Failure ExceptionSystem.Exception: File load failed, aborting at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaInstaller.ReadZipStream() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.ResourceInstaller.PaInstaller.Install()

Please help me to solve this.

The Friendly Url Provider is not a DNN module and can't be installed using the 'install module' function.

Please download the instructions zip file - unzip it to a directory and read the instructions.  This will show you how to install and configure the provider.

Alternatively you can try the Url Master module, which can be installed using the DNN Module Installer.

Sorry, my mistake.  The instructions are in the zip file for the Friendly Url Provider.  There is no separate installation zip for the Friendly Url Provider.  Just unzip the one you have downloaded - you'll find the instructions in there.
