iFinity Google Sitemap Provider - Release History 

Subscribe to this Thread if you would like to be notified when a new Release of the Google Sitemap Provider Base and Module-specific Providers are released.

All updates , feature additions and bug fixes are notified in this thread.

New Version Google Sitemap Providers

In this update (all assemblies version 1.02.01):

- Addition of 'comment' text in the SitePage object used to build the Sitemap.  Setting this value will insert an Xml comment in with the url element in the generated sitemap.

- Refinement of the News Articles provider to respect any category filters placed on a specific page instance of the News Articles module.  Previously all articles were generated for all pages.

NOTE: This update does not upgrade the reference to the newer Ventrian.NewsArticles.dll reference.  As noted on other threads you can do this yourself by downloading the source, changing the project reference and recompiling.

New Update (assemblies 1.2.2)

- Fixed issue with DNN 4.8.1 Url Rewriter excluding .axd requests from processing, which also stops the PortalSettings for the requested portal from being set.

New Version Released today:

- Updated the base Google Sitemap Provider to read the 'disabled' setting on DNN pages

- Updated references to the Ventrian News Articles module to use the latest module (Ventrian.NewsArticles.dll)

Binary versions are 1.2.03 - get the latest downloads:

New release of the google sitemap providers.

The new version is 1.02.04

This release is to fix a bug where the standard DNN Friendly Url provider is used.  The <loc> elements are generated without the http://domain.com on the front of the Url.

If you are running 1.02.03 or 1.02.02 and using standard DNN friendly Urls you are urged to upgrade.
