Just to add to this, I just checked the source code for our module and Globals.NavigateURL() is being used to generate the URL.

If you're dealing with in-house built Urls, I suggest you read my blog post : An open letter to the DotNetNuke developers of the world: Please start using the FriendlyUrlProvider API for custom page names!

This post will give you some insight on creating better Urls using the DNN api by including keyword text in it. You might want to also read the articles I have written about creating better Urls (currently only part 1 published, still working on part 2)
