I just installed URL master to my DNN 5.2 site.  The options under Host and Admin both work, and I was experimenting with setting up a vanity URL.

I logged out, and now when I try to log back in to my site, I get :

Not Found

The requested document was not found on this server.

I had selected the option to not use the .aspx extension on the whole site.  Could that be related ?
I am not a web developer just a nonprofit manager wearing lots of hats.  Now I am locked out of my site and in a real jam.

Would greatly appreciate your help/advice on how to resolve this.  My site is www.riverfriends.org

********UPDATE************
I replaced web.config via FTP with my old version, so now I can log in.  Would appreciate advice on where to go from this point.

Thanks,

John

Hi John

Generally if you configured the site to have no page extensions, and you then received 404 errors, was because the IIS changes to set up the no page extensions was not done correctly.

Please try this:

- configure the module to run with the page extensions switched on

- switch off the page extensions, but before you apply the changes, try testing one of the pages in the 'test url rewriting' box, and see if it identifies the correct page.  If so, the problem is most likely with the IIS configuration.  See http://www.ifinity.com.au/Products/KB/Url_Master/topic/Switching+off+page+extensions+in+IIS for more information about switching off page extensions.
