this is in the <modules> and <httpModules> sections and  the NeatUpload entries are before the UrlMaster entries

I can access the /language/en-us/home.aspx and /login.aspx but only if I dont use the WWW in the url

404 Url Not Found
The requested Url (http://www.edmedia.com.au/language/en-us/home.aspx) does not return any valid content.

either way the login registration doesnt work but all the pages are named correctly.  Just have a problem loging-in, registering and I assume login-out

OK, it's likely the problem exists because you have only one portal alias in your site.  Please try adding the 'www' version of your domain name to the portal alias list, via the site settings.  After you update the site settings, go to the friendly url settings page and click on 'rebuild page index'

hmm,  how do I do that without being able to login?

I added it directly to the poratal alias in the DB.  but what seems to be happening no is I access the site www.edmedia.com.au click on log in and the URL changes to http://edmedia.com.au

and I get

Not Found

The requested document was not found on this server.

Just try 'touching' your web.config to force an application restart.  See if that helps.
