Search Results issue - redirect loop 

Hi - we're using the Ifintiy URL Master module along with the Engage Publish module and are having issues with search results.  A search result for an article will return a url of the form

http:/xxx.com/search-indexer/itemid/512.aspx  which does a 302 to

http://xxx.com/DesktopModules/EngagePublish/itemlink.aspx?itemId=512 which does a 301 to

http://xxx.com/content/publish-content/itemid/512/chicago-2016-committee-members.aspx which in turn does a 302 back to


http://xxx.com/DesktopModules/EngagePublish/itemlink.aspx?itemId=512

This will continue to loop until the browser quits.  The Friendly URL of the page in question is

http://xxx.com/why-chicago/our-plan/supporters/chicago-2016-committee.aspx

Any ideas on how we might remedy this?

John - can you tell me what the domain is (ie xxx.com)  I will be able to work out what is causing the redirect and try and work out a solution.  I do know the engage publishing utilises a 302 redirect from the /desktopmodules/ url , I have seen that behaviour before.

Let me know the domain name and I will take a look.

I've had a look at this problem, it looks like the Url Master component isn't issuing the 301 or the 302 redirects.  To solve the problem I'm probably going to have to work with the Engage people to work out where the incompatibility is.  Can you please raise it as an issue with them and give them my details to further resolve the problem?
