MediaAnt Guest Book pro

Hi Bruce,

Got an issue with a couple modules on a staging site using v1.11.9.

The first is MediaAnt Guestbook Pro - on the entry form it has a URL to a page which creates the captcha image and the URL is being written as:
http://wdlh.staging.vpwsys.co.uk/parks/highlands-end/DesktopModules/MAGuestBookPro/MACaptchaImage.aspx

I've put (/DesktopModules/)|(/MAGuestBookPro/) in the doNotRewriteRegex box but it doesn't have any affect. Is there something else i can try to fix this?

Another module is having similar problems where it's icons are not showing in the modules admin page.

Re: MediaAnt Guest Book pro

Hi Dan

You can also try addking the /MAGuestBookPro/ to the end of the 'ignoreRegex' pattern.  This will exclude it altogether from being processed by the url rewriter.  The 'donotrewrite' still allows it to look match the portal alias and set the 'portalSettings' value in the request context, which you probably don't need in a captcha processor.

Let me know if that helps.

Re: MediaAnt Guest Book pro

Hi Bruce, i've tried the above but without success. The current regex's are:

ignoreRegex=(\.gif)|(\.png)|(\.css)|(\.js)|(\.jpg)|(\.html)|(\.htm)|(\.axd)|(MAGuestBookPro)
doNotRewriteRegex=(/DesktopModules/)

I thought i'd try this module on a page which is in the useBaseFriendlyUrls regex which is the page below:
http://wdlh.staging.vpwsys.co.uk/WDLHAdmin/tabid/87/Default.aspx

but it still didn't work. If i put in the old style dnn url it does work:
http://wdlh.staging.vpwsys.co.uk/Default.aspx?tabid=87

I've tried this module on a local dev site with just the dnn friendly URLs and it works ok.

Re: MediaAnt Guest Book pro

I'm also getting problems with Enterprise Forms when trying to go to the Edit Options page for selecting a form template to use.

On a standard DNN install, the URL which works is:
http://www.wdlh.dev/BrochureRequest/tabid/216/ctl/DataEntryOptions/mid/937/key/DATA_ENTRY/Default.aspx

if i try this on a straight install of URLmaster i get:
http://wdlh.staging.vpwsys.co.uk/Brochure-Request.aspx?err=Error@%20Invalid+option%2c+please+reload+and+try+again
I guess it's not forming the URL correct and the model can't find the required info from it.

And when i put (/DataEntryOptions/) in doNotRewriteRegex i get this URL:
http://wdlh.staging.vpwsys.co.uk/Brochure-Request/ctl/DataEntryOptions/mid/940/key/DATA_ENTRY.aspx

and this on the page:
404 Url Not Found
The requested Url (http://wdlh.staging.vpwsys.co.uk/Brochure-Request/ctl/DataEntryOptions/mid/940/key/DATA_ENTRY.aspx) does not return any valid content.

Re: MediaAnt Guest Book pro

Hi Dan

It's the first time I've come across this module, so it looks like there are some compatibility issues.

Can you send me the install version of the module you're using - bchapman at ifinity.com.au.

Also, I see that you're in staging with this project - please let me know when your deadline is so I can try and get a solution for you in time.

-Bruce
