New version released : version 1.11.07

Note: It is recommended for existing users to update their 'triggerDictionaryRebuildRegex' value to the following:

(.+)(\&ctl=tab)(.+)|(/Admin/Tabs/)

This increases the situations in which a page index rebuild is triggered to when the user uses the 'Admin->Pages' page to shift pages around in the hierarchy. This value is set in the 'Friendly Url Settings' page, under 'Advanced Regex Filters'.

Bug fixes in 1.11.7

  • fixed bug causing replacement of characters 'h', 't' and 'p' in domain names.(486)
  • Changed request parameter reading to stop causing bug in NeatUpload (though bug is in NeatUpload code) (487)
  • Setting parameter order in Friendly Url Settings screen does not switch on reverse parameter order (488)
  • Secure redirection code can cause exceptions and fail with a 302 error (489)
  • Default.aspx?Tabid=nn style Urls not always redirecting to friendly version (490)
  • Page List page tabs list disappears in some browsers (453)
  • Original Url context set even on ignored rewrites (471)
  • Requests made through testing facility do not show 404 errors (491)

Enhancements in 1.11.7

  • Reversed order of processing for redirects and 'core' dnn urls. This allows 'old style' friendly Urls to be redirected. (485)

Version 1.11.8 - Released : 15th July 2008

Note: this version fixes a critical bug that was released with version 1.11.7. Any installation of 1.11.7 should be immediately upgraded to 1.11.8.

Bug fixes in 1.11.8

  • 404 resulting from exception when requesting default.aspx?tabid=nn style Urls.(492)

Apologies to those who installed 1.11.7 when it was released.

The new version is available at the Url Master product page; You can upgrade over the top of an existing installation.

A patch a day keeps the bugs away....  This isn't an absolute requirement for 1.11.8 unless you are running custom rules in the siteurls.config file.  However, I have improved the error handling so that errors are more easily diagnosed, especially using the test facility in the 'Friendly Url Settings' page.

Version 1.11.9 - Released : 16th July 2008

This is another patch on the 1.11.7/8 release to fix individual problems arising from different configurations

Bug fixes in 1.11.9

  • URls included in the 'useBaseFriendlyUrl' attribute show up as 301 redirects in the Page Urls screen(494)
  • Put in exception handlign around user-specified Regex values (495)
  • Exclude 'baseFriendlyUrls' from page cache so that they are always forced through the siteurls.config rules (493)
  • Change exceptions to output 500 status error codes instead of 404 (497)

Enhancements in 1.11.9

  • Improve error message handling on Friendly Urls Test screen (496).

This version contains a mix of new features, performance improvements and bug fixes

Bug fixes in 1.12.00

  • 301 redirect to include / trailing extension if omitted from request (499)
  • Redirect to lower case option forces /Default.aspx on end of request when site root requested (511)
  • Bug forces rewritten query string parameters to lower case (513)
  • Automatically apply 'urlFormat="humanFriendly"' to the web.config element (515)
  • Correctly apply IIS7 settings in integrated mode (516)
  • Fix 500 server error when client-side redirect used for SSL (518)
  • Domain names containing .aspx cause 404 errors (520)
