Hello,

I am using DSL Localizator on my website for many years and it works fine. URL Master is working fine with it until another language is chosen. There is an error mentioned in the address bar and nothing happens.

How can this be solved? Thanks in advance.

Paco

Paco : It's a long time since I looked at the DS Localizator software, but I'm not sure if you can get it working correctly.  You can experiment with loading up new Page Urls for localized pages, so that the Url Master named Urls match the ones generated by the DS Localizator, but a few people have told me they can't get it to work.  I'm currently working on better support for multi-language sites with urls, but this is still a while away.  I'll be doing testing with some of the more popular localization packages and will endeavour to make a compatible version, but right now you may not be able to get it to work properlky.

Hello Bruce, I got it working

I was always using the querystring for the language in the address bar. I adjusted DSL Localizator to use cookies. This makes the URL much nicer and equal for every language. It means I have one URL per page. Seems to me a good thing because all the traffic is no more splitted. This means my Google Page rank may go up by just adjusting DSL Localizator and URL Master in this manner. Correct me if I am wrong?

Check my website at www.Top-ICT.com and use the language selector at the top. It works like a charm

Glad to see you got it working OK.  I always thought you could get the ds-localizator to work.

One thing though : I checked the google results for your domain, and you're not getting the auto 301 redirects on your site.  I would switch on the 'automatically redirect unfriendly urls'.   This will get the search engines to update urls like http://www.top-ict.com/Products/Bundles/tabid/88/language/nl-NL/Default.aspx  automatically to their newer, friendly equivalents.  This will greatly help your ranking.
