With the other uploaders, I found that putting neatuplod 'ahead' of the UrlRewrite entry in the web.config file would cause a 404 errror. I'm not sure why this is but I suspect it has something to do with the ASP.NET rewriting not working as expected in these cases. So try moving the rewriting entry down the list - you'll see that the Rad Uploader which now comes with DNN is near the bottom of the list.

I did try debugging with the customised version of the module - that's the one I loaded up. I also thought you had to increase your Http upload size no matter which way you were doing your uploading, but I'm happy to be corrected there if I am wrong.

Bruce,

Thanks again for your response. I tried moving NeatUpload to the very bottom of the entries but it did not work. I still get a 404 error anytime I try to upload via the NeatUpload component. I'm back to the drawing board.

Supposedly use of NeatUpload doesn't require alteration to the main upload limits in the web.config, but I tried increasing it with no success. I'm still stuck. I don't suppose iFinity has plans to write an extension to the DNN File Manager that uses the Telerik Uploader? I know Telerik's uploader works fine with Url Master and it's included with DNN 5.2+.

Ah HA!!!

Bruce,

I finally came up with a solution to this problem. I started a new thread so your other users can find it more easily:

Thanks again for your help!
