I have used another URL simplifier in the past and it had a couple of buttons, you were done.  True it didn't have all the flexibility to rewrite anything to anything, but the basic simplification method was eaaaaaaasy.  I just bought Url Master for a client sites and installed it.

My question:  Is there a two clicks and your done method for a basic canned simplification.  There is so much here it makes just "default simplify all pages" a pain.  What am I missing?  Can someone tell me the two clicks I need to simplify all pages?

Thanks,

Looks like the answer is the Apply Changes button in a default install of the module.  Great stuff, but I was paranoid about breaking something.  There is a $125MM corporation behind this site and if I break something, they won't like it.  :-)

I rolled the dice and pushed Apply Changes, it worked.  Newbies have no fear, push Apply Changes.

Thanks,

Dave

Hi Dave

Thanks for your feedback.  I am working on a UI enhancement for the 'newbie' so that the many options don't overwhelm.  As you found out, you can just accept the default options and click the 'apply changes', and everything will work for 99% of installs.

The software is still version 1 and as such most of the effort went into making it work.  Version 2 will have more features and an emphasis of being more understandable for people without a lot of experience in the area.
