I'm creating this thread on request of customers who wish to leave feedback about the Url Master module.

Feel free to outline your success story, or if you just want to be complementary, here's the place to do it. You can put in links to your site and steal some link juice if you like.

This thread isn't the place for problems or complaints : if you have one of those please create a new thread specifically.

Dear Bruce,

Thank you very much for this module.

It works excellent, it redirects all of the pages of my old website perfectly.

I also want to thank you for your great support. You have answered all of my questions, which were not even about the url master module most of the time!

Here's a success story, provided via email from Gille Le Pigocher (who is a DNN Store Team Member):

Url Master is currently used on a French IT magazine and it will be used for the other magazine websites.  It is a high-volume site (700k pageviews/month) for a French customer.  IMHO, if your are concerned by SEO, Url Master is a must have.

The linked site shows good use of the 'Replace ASCII characters' feature to create ASCII-friendly Urls for pages with names like 'Sécurité', which comes out as

Wow, can't believe that more people haven't posted success stories yet.

Hands down, the iFinity URL Master is one of the easiest modules to install and get running on DNN 5 or 6 for managing Friendly URLs and 404s and more!

Understanding that this is a module that affects the web.config and site at large, it could be an intimidating install and setup, but Bruce and iFinity have made this the perfect 5 minute, piece-of-cake install that you expect with the best of the DNN community of modules.

You can easily back out either through the interface or through the web.config if you ever need to turn off for a moment, and the controls within the module are well explained, feature-rich and easy to use.

If you're a DNN Integrator and have wondered whether to try out iFinity, don't hesitate, the benefits are well worth it, and it's one of my "Must Have Tools for DotNetNuke"
