Is there a way to link a blog post or other page not contained in the Pages collection to a custom url?

Example: My drivel on appointing a project manager used to be at

http://www.chicagodatasolutions.com/establish_a_project_czar_2.aspx

but now it is a blog post at:

 http://www.chicagodatasolutions.com/Blogs/Do_Something_Clever_Here/EntryID/8/

I want to create a friendly url so we don't lose our search engine values.  How do I do this?  The admin ui only provides a way to link to an existing Page in Pages.

You can do this - you've got to remember the Page Urls screen is reverse - you select the page you want to redirect to, and then enter the Url you want to redirect from

There is a way to link to a specific blog post, I'll send you a separate email on that.
